My Philosophy: A Holistic and Respectful Approach to Your Health Journey
Experience That Inspires Confidence
I have been caring for people with significant medical conditions and supporting individuals at the end of life for over 15 years.
With my background as an internal medicine physician, I provide medical guidance and coaching to those with chronic, debilitating conditions. Patients dealing with congestive heart failure, diabetes and its many complications, dementia, renal failure on dialysis, substance abuse, depression, and hoarding, among other illnesses, often feel overwhelmed. I have witnessed the daily challenges these conditions cause. We are here to help patients optimize their quality of life and rediscover a sense of peace and purpose.
Building Understanding, Clarity, and Control
Over the years, I’ve developed a deep passion for helping people better understand and manage their medical conditions. With extensive clinical experience, I give patients and their families a clear view of their health, anticipate needs, and guide them through the direction of their illness. This transparency allows individuals to take control and make informed decisions—empowered by knowledge, not fear.
Finding Peace in Transition
I assist patients in embracing end-of-life decisions with clarity and calm. By discovering harmony in the duality of both life and death, I aim to support you in achieving serenity and even joy during a difficult time. My goal is for you to feel vitality, strength, and love—even as you navigate health challenges or prepare for end-of-life.

Meet Dr. Gonzalez Aguirre: A Physician Dedicated to Healing from the Inside Out
I’ve practiced Internal and Functional Medicine for over a decade. I’m board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and hold certification from the Institute of Functional Medicine. I’ve also completed the Berkeley Physician Leadership Program at UC Berkeley School of Public Health and ACCMA.
As a Medical Director, I’ve led teams in delivering comprehensive care to high-risk patients—addressing medical, mental, social, and environmental needs.
For years, I’ve helped patients reinvigorate their health and become their most functional selves. I believe in approaching care through a physical, mental, and spiritual lens.
I also understand the obstacles many patients face—underlying medical conditions, healthcare costs, and complicated family dynamics. I’ve seen how powerful transformation can be when patients are supported beyond the clinic walls. That’s why coaching and guidance at home, in your environment and on your timeline, matters deeply to me.
